Law of the Triangle
Ancient wisdom teachings elaborate on a fundamental principle called the Law of the Triangle. The Law of the Triangle is natural law formed from the union of two opposite but corresponding/complementary equal halves (conditions) to produce a perfect manifestation.
Every phenomenon necessarily results from an active and a receptive cause, being a product of the union of two qualities that are arbitrarily called positive and negative. Of course, using words like positive and negative is done in a mystical sense only and there is no inherent good or bad implied in either word.
The positive and negative are merely two points of a triangle, the third point being the manifestation of the union of these two points.
This is represented in the Star of David as a perfect physical/material manifestation indicated by a downward pointing equilateral triangle and a perfect spiritual manifestation indicated by an upward pointing equilateral triangle. Respectively, this example gives the true indication that the Law of the Triangle operates in the physical as well as the spiritual realm.
In the instance of the Star of David which is a hexagram consisting of two equilateral triangles, we then can visualize the symbol representing a law or condition. The manifestation of a symbol will largely depend on a concurrent visualization of its meaning and especially the mode or manner such symbol reveals itself to us. Thus again, the necessity of personal interpretations that are built on study through educational opportunities.
The law teaches that healing must occur on a spiritual level through exploring our own personal inner worlds through contemplations, visualizations, meditation, and other forms of attunement. Reversely, the readiness on the physical plane occurs through preparations of study, application combined with rituals, and tools that help focus the mind and physical energies. The law then suggests that a cure of a disease or dis-ease could be achieved with a balance or harmony between the inner and outer self.
