Creative Element of Sulfur

In Hermetic Alchemy, Sulfur is the symbol of the strong nuclear force. It is formed from the creative forces of fire and air.  Its concept is that of radiance, expansion, warmth, light, and creativity.

Sulfur is equated with the Atman, consciousness, the True Will, personal fire, kundalini energy, the essence of a thing. It is the Divine spark, the individual wave upon the ocean. It symbolizes absolute and is fiery, bright, and solar. On the earth in the physical plane, Sulphur is described as the fire element.

Fire attunes energy of creation.  Fire stimulates our divine faculties of thought and stimulates our ability to sense our own existence. Cogito, ergo sum–“I think, therefore I am.” Sense is the awareness by the mind to conceive itself and the world; the objective consciousness of our brain that is stimulated by the Divine source.

It is our personal power of expression through creativity and actions taken to realize our dreams and desires. It is Spirit.

A prosopopoeia is an avatar that speaks on behalf of the Creative Elements as they are represented in the mineral kingdom. Regardless of all explanations and mystical qualities that a stone may exhibit, the Law of Suggestion best explains their energetic properties; a simple seed planted within the subconscious.

Any repeating pattern of behavior can be defined as a ritual. A procedural routines developed by an individual, in regards to a stone, carry with them a message developed through subjective experiences and education. The act of consciously using a stone in acknowledgment of those memories and lessons contribute to an inward unfoldment of consciousness.
